Here at Care4buddies, we know that sometimes all it takes to change a situation is awareness. Since our founding in 2016, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Abandonment, Overpopulation, Education and Legislation
The Need for advocacy
The prevalence of stray animals is a direct result of the lack of animal welfare and largely affects not only the health and welfare of strays but the health of human populations. But why does the problem exist?
Pet Abandonment
Whilst sometimes pet abandonment can be a result of housing/medical or behavioral problems, the reason for abandonement is commonly due to "pet consumption" where they purchase an animal as an object rather than a live creature, simply a fashion accessory or product for entertainment purposes. As a result, people underestimate the time necessary to take care of their pets. Consequently, owners try to quickly get rid of their pets as if they were unwanted goods. These animals often end up on the streets, and if they are lucky, they are brought to animal shelters such as Animal Aid. It is heartbreaking.

Collaborations such as Care4buddies that cover all aspects of the problem.
As we use developed skills to engage hundreds of students in the Netherlands and India, we continue to reach out and spread awareness of this animal welfare issue all over the world whilst coming up with creative new ways to raise funds for charities such as Animal Aid.
